LAW, LOREEN It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Loreen Legislation on December 20, 2022, at 88 years of age. Born November 2, 1934, in Cannington, ON, to Alvin and Roberta Banbury. Loving sister of Donna, and brother, Ron; and predeceased by brother, Doug. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews; beloved, supportive mom of Cheryl and Robyn; cherished, doting grandmother of Kira. She can be held pricey in our hearts all the time. Loreen was a sort neighbour and distinctive pal who can be missed by many. She can be dearly missed by her finest pal, Shirley, and good pal, Connie. Loreen was a trailblazing feminist, breaking limitations within the male dominated enterprise world throughout the ’80s and ’90s. By excelling in any respect she took on in addition to advocating for herself relentlessly, she progressed from momentary secretary to Common Supervisor, and finally to Vice President of Westside Cemeteries. Visitation can be held at Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 3357 Bloor Avenue W., on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., with a Memorial Service to comply with at 3:00 p.m. within the Chapel.
